As someone who practices a traditional Irish crafts o feel complled to honor that connection and aid Palestine in the current wave of attempted genocide I have made this Weave It Yourself Kit for a traditional Irish Crios belt using the original foot weaving method. It incorporates colors of the Palestinian flag and patterns that echo those on a Kufiya- the scarf that is a symbol of palestinian resistance. Learn a traditional Irish craft from the Aran Islands and support our friends in Palestine. Included in this kit: 1 set up and ready to weave warp with 2 inches of pre woven length Several balls of weft yarn of a quantity sufficient to complete the weaving Heddle rod attached to weaving Width check This kit can be used to weave a crios about 85 inches in woven length. Put together with wool and wool blend yarn sourced from a repurposed art supply store. There may be slight variations in color or yarn thickness between kits. A finished woven crios is not included in this purchase. The listing is for the kit as pictured above and not a finished project. 100% of what you pay will go to helping people in Palestine.
